Home EV charger installation in Dallas is not a single thing. It is a series of decisions that depend on your home's construction, your garage configuration, your panel capacity, and how you use your vehicle. Getting those decisions right means asking the right questions before any work is quoted.

Where the Charger Goes

Attached garage on the same wall as the panel. The simplest and least expensive install. A short conduit run from the panel to the charger, one breaker slot used, job typically done in a few hours.

Attached garage on the opposite wall or far side. Longer conduit run inside the garage. Still a single-building job, but adds material and labor. Some homes route conduit through the attic.

Detached garage. The run goes from the main panel, through conduit, under or over the ground (or through existing utility chase), and into the detached structure.
